I Am Legend
Richard Matheson's novel has already formed the basis for two adaptations (including 1971's The Omega Man, starring Charlton Heston), but this winter's film version is the first to retain the book's title. Too soon to tell whether it'll be worth seeing, but this much we do know: As the lone survivor of a massive bacterial infection, star Will Smith manages to fight off vampires while staying perfectly on-trend.
